The Revival of spring sports
The arrival of spring means flowers, sun, warm weather, and summer on the horizon. It also means the arrival of spring sports. While we unfortunately missed our High school’s very first spring sports season due to COVID, we now have it back in our lives and our athletes and teams could not be happier. “It was very sad that we missed our season last year, it affected our community and it affected our teams so now that we have regained our season it’s like we regained a part of us that was missing. Spring sports are a big part of our community that brings our school together and I couldn’t be happier to have that back”(Charlie Benincasa). Our whole community feels just like Charlie. During our fall and winter season, spectators were very limited but the spring sports season arrived with looser spectator rules. This has resulted in more spectators at our games supporting the tigers. Spring sports has presented a step in the right direction and it represents more hope that soon we will be back to normal.
